About Me

I am a full-time wedding photographer based in the DMV area. I have documented more than 300 weddings since 2013. It was my honor/pleasure that I could capture the best moment in someone’s life. My goal is always very clear because I want my photos to represent what it really is. So, in wedding photography, I do not alter or manipulate things because it is not real. I truly focus on who they are, which later my past clients always said that they would cherish those vibrant and candid moments forever. Another goal as a wedding photographer is to create a story. On a wedding day, there are numerous feelings or things mixed up and happen. As a wedding photographer, my job is to clearly sort things out and line them up to make a beautiful story of the day.

Facts About Me

I am a wedding photographer and humanitarian photographer. During off wedding season, I travel around the world to document more realistic events. I love to take photos of people on the street and help working kids send them to school. A lot of children I met were working for their family and couldn’t go to school. As a father of a son, that broke my heart. So, whenever I had time, I and my wife travel to developing countries to help children to get more education by donating some money that was part of my wedding business. I am different from others because I capture the moments, meaning that I do not photograph “same” things. The air I was breathing in and out, the smell, and the taste are all different at the time. Most importantly, the couple or subjects I was photographing are different. They are unique. I created aesthetic photos to deliver more candid and truthful stories. I am also proud of myself because I have met many clients who appreciated my approach and perspective. It means a lot to me when they tell me exactly how I feel about photography.

Special Moments In My Career

CNN Report Of My First Exhibition in Athens Greece

Traveling is always a good reason for photography, especially when there is a noble cause involved. Eric Lee from South Korea photographs people worldwide and is currently in the middle of a project called "People and Life".

The subject of his work is the human element in all aspects of everyday life with an emphasis on the struggle for survival through the personal beauty of each person. There may be a strong element of poverty in his photos, but this has nothing to do with any kind of fetish from which many photographers "suffer". Eric, who was recently in Athens for the presentation of his exhibition at the Blank wall gallery, spoke to CNN Greece about his goal:

"In many countries, I traveled to, I saw many children who could not attend school. Children are the future of these countries. If they go to school and get an adequate education, maybe when they grow up they can help their countries have a higher standard of living level. In some countries, I've visited many children don't go to school because they don't have the financial means. They work on the streets. The reason I take these pictures is to raise money to help these people and some of these children go to school."
